Enrique Blanco

From 2000 to 2006, he joined to the Genome Informatics Lab led by Dr. Roderic Guigo in the IMIM. In 2000, he obtained the degree on Computer Science from the Facultat d'Informatica de Barcelona. Under the supervision of Dr. Xavier Messeguer and Dr. Roderic Guigo, he obtained the PhD in Computer Science (bioinformatics) from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2006. From 2007 to 2013, he was a post-doctoral researcher in the Epigenetics group led by Dr. Montserrat Corominas of the Genetics department in the Universitat de Barcelona (UB). Since October 2013, he joined to the Epigenetic Events in Cancer group led by Dr. Luciano Di Croce in the Center for Genomic Research (CRG) in Barcelona. He is also associated professor of the Genetics department in the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and consultor of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).
